Federal Polytechnic Bida Library is an important structure in the Polytechnic. The Polytechnic library is open to use by staff and students. For students to access the library and make use of it they must register with the library. In the write-up, you will learn the step-by-step procedures to follow in getting registered with the Polytechnic library to make use of the library.
The first step is you must have pay for your school fees and print the receipt out. Go to the Library and present your school fees payment receipt and notification of admission printed from the school portal. While taking the above document go along with a hundred naira only as you will be asked to pay hundred naira for the lamination of the library ID Card.
Upon getting to the library collect the registration card with the circulation officer and fill it. The card will look like in the picture below.
After filling take the registration card to your H.O.D for signing and stamping. After signing return to the circulation officer with your signed and stamped registration form with two passport photographs.
Immediately you will be issued a library ID card and a borrowers card to enable you to borrow books from the library. Report loss of library ID card or borrowers’ card to the library for replacement.
